this is definitely going to be a good baby blanket pattern...I see yellow stars on a black background...

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging but I must be a better crocheter than I thought. This was an intermediate clue but I thought it was pretty easy...at least I have skills at something these days!

Are you the person who posted about the blocking kit and wires and is that what is showing on your photo? They look like they are a lot better to use than just pins as I have tried in the past. I am also wondering if knitting needles would work the same way as wires.

I posted about what the wires were for, so I'm using dbl pointed sock needles. Bought a pack at the sewing store that had 20 needles (5 different sizes) for 9.99 at Joanns. They are small in diameter and easy to use. They are 7 inches long.
Hope this helps.

That's funny! When at Michael's the other day I saw a pack like that and wondered if I could use it for stretching for blocking! Then walked away. I may run across my street and grab them later now!
(Yes, Michael's is across from my house!)

I would be in trouble if I lived that close to a Michael's! Would be there every day! Lucky you!

I ended up doing an extended double crochet in rounds 6 and 7 to get it to match the size of my clue 2 motifs.

Round 5 works better for me if I have used stitch markers to mark the ch1 spaces so I know where to put the Dc and Tr2tog.

I'll give that a try.
I attempted to make a motif last night, so I'd be able to help people today with the clue release, but couldn't make it work the right way. Tonight, I'll try again. Wish me luck!

Thank you for a great idea :bravo: I am seeing silver wrapped white yarn on midnight blue background for Xmas. Maybe even a tree skirt made with them since our collection of ornaments are snowmen related. Going off to add it to project list.
