Balls of yarn in sidebar
Balls of yarn in sidebar

I just signed on to this forum, and I noticed that when I post there is a sidebar that has balls of yarn. None of mine are filled in and it says Newbie. I am guessing that this can be altered by the user to color in some of those balls and show that you are an intermediate or expert. I didn't see how to do this. Is it possible?

The 'rankings' are based on the number of posts you have made. Because the forum is only a couple weeks old, everybody is currently a 'newbie'. When members go up in the ranks, the yarn balls under their name will be filled in.

Once I deliberately made a post just to see another ball of yarn appear

I had noticed there were a lot of questions regarding the 'forum names', especially the Newbie one. Now that the 'Newbie' no longer says 'Newbie alone, this will hopefully stop the confusion eh!
