lialab, is that made with cotton or acrylic yarn?? Looks very striking in the black and white!

Thank you :)
I made it with acrylic. This is made with super value, and probably due to the lighting it looks black but it is actually dark green and white but I agree with you black would be even more striking which will probably be my next color

Count me in too. I'm really slow though. I like the cotton handicrafter the best - it seems to absorb water best.

it is well known that cotton retains more water, than acrylic but I only had super value in my stash so for a first I am pretty glad with what I have

Oooh this would be perfect for the new Handicrafter Scrubby yarn! I picked up a purple ball and at the indoor tent sale at Spinrite I picked up a deeper purple cotton set. I just don't knwo if I will have time to do this too, even if it is a fast project.
I used to be so scared of making flowers but after doing the CAL's Clue 3 I no longer fear it! Who knew it could be so easy! I could never figure out how to make the 'petals'.

Wow! LOVE it, lialab! My son would like that one. He's a big fan of black or blue.
I know.....it's not black....but it looks black.
