Attached is my photo of the Clue #3 square, knit on #7 needles. Compared to the template and to my other completed Clue 1 & 2 squares, these measure up prefectly. The first half of the square does look bigger than the second half. Overall, I really like the color combination of Irish Moss and Sundrift. Agree that 8 squares in one week is a lot, but will move on and see how many I can complete before Wed AM.

I think I was a little risky when I trusted my daughter to pick the colours for the KAL. Now I am starting to really look forward to all these colours together. I love how the porcelain red pops! The main colour which we haven't used yet, will be dark blue!

zhanie, I think that is going to make a very interesting afghan.

I finish a square before looking at any of the photos.
Mine looks like yours! I like and I am leaving it!

it took forever, but i have one clue 3 square completed now. i had to do a lot of playing around because the size 8 needles i'd been using up until now were producing a square over an inch too large.

so, the first half was knit on size 5 needles in Bark, and the second half was on size 7 needles in Aqua Frost. even so, it looks like the first half is invading the second a bit. it just doesn't want to play nicely. but, at least the square finally measures out right.

Oh my! Only 4 done so far. I was getting bored with the repetition of 8 exactly the same and reversed the colours used in first and second halves for half of the squares. I can turn them if needed so the right colour is in the right position for seaming. As long as I'm using the two colours required, I hope it will be all right! :hrmm:
I have extra yarn so can work up more if needed. (do you think I'll feel like it by the end?) :idonno:
My first square was a little bigger. (the one on the top left) :hrmm: Wonder if I should redo or keep going..... This is my busiest week so far and dread having to rip!

Very nice colour combination cindymattsmom - it's turning out well! I bet Pearl is just WAITING for you to finish in order to try it out! I have 2 cats who love to sleep on soft things, like my clean, unfolded laundry!
