Oy! I'm so behind.
CAL
Clue 1 - finished but I've been rearranging colors so I need to do one more so - NOT done!
Clue 2 - 1 done in main color
Clue 3 - 1 done in main color

I hope to catch up this weekend (uh huh)

I want to do the KAL but I only have half a square of clue 1 done.

Life's busy! But I love doing this and look so forward to it! And the yarn is very nice.

ok finally finished clue 2 for both KAL & CAL and 1 KAL clue 3 done even figured out how to get next badges having so much fun with this

I haven't started clue three yet. But I did take a look at the pictures and it looks beautiful!

I have one square of knitting clue 1 done, working on the second color combo and not done any of clue 2 or 3. I had trouble with the first clue, got 1 square done after 2 tries, on 2nd square still kept coming out wrong after 3 tries. I was using yarn from my stash, I decided to change yarn after going to my local craft store and seeing the Waverly yarn on clearance and since I had only 1 usable square decided to start over. On my crochet I have all done except clue 3 only have 2 blocks done and will probably have to redo one since they are different sizes. Going to block them today to see which one is best before I make more.

This last week and a half I have not been doing much knitting and crochet since my favorite online game I play is going away. I have been trying to save all my items to my laptop so I can still play with our little Super Poke! Pets with my grandson. He has been helping me take care of our little pets since he was 3 months old and is now learning to use the mouse on his own at almost 3. Tuesday is the last day GOOGLE is giving us then the game is gone forever Google bought the game and then decided to just shut it down, so I am NOT a fan of GOOGLE now

That's so sad! I'm sorry you're losing your game. It sounds like a great way to share time with your grandson. I hope you find something else just as fun to do together.

I enjoy playing video games as well. The Sims, Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Nancy Drew PC games, Agatha Christie PC games, online games, and stuff on the Wii and Nintendo DS. But, I haven't had as much time to play recently, because I've been busy moderating and making my blanket.

Well it encourages me that I'm not the only one behind. Started out with a bang and completed clue 1 of the CAL. Started clue 1 of the KAL and was too cocky, been knitting over 50 years. Got to the end of square one and had 6 stitches. Had to frog all but one row of the second color. Arg. Then my son-in-love called and said, "Clean out the 50 years of junk out of the garage. We are going to put in the floor and doors.". There goes the yarn time.

When I had to wait for one of my sons in the ER yesterday, I actually looked forward to it, so I could knit. Who would figure they took him right in and bandaged up and got him right out. Ever heard someone complain that they didn't have to wait in the ER? But I wanted to knit!
Finally started clue2 of the KAL, and I love, LOVE the shaker rib stitch. I have never done it before. I keep picturing making a sweater for my granddaughter out of this lovely soft and squishy knit. I am using the birch white waverly, beautiful yarn.

well was caught up now behind again only 1/2 of1 block Kal clue #3 and haven't even started first block of CAL clue#3. that's what I will do the rest of the evening and hope to spend lots of time tomorrow as I am home all day. Though life does have a way of interfering with my knitting plans Still really having a blast and reading here I know I am not alone

I do not really like Clue 3! So, it is slow going right now. I even looked for an alternet pattern like I did with last CAL. No luck so have only two done. I will keep plugging along! Sandy

I am so far behind that I have really stopped even worrying about it!
Clue 1: 7 of 8 done.
Clue 2: 2 of 4 done.
Clue 3 (which I really dislike and this one is going to be painful to do 8 squares): 2 of 8 done.
I am seriously hopeful that tomorrow's clue will finally use my main color (which is my fave), and that this will become fun again!
