I love this idea for blocking. I'm going to have to ask my friends if they have any of these foam blocks laying around from their kids that they don't want anymore.

Havng the same issue with 1st half being looser than 2nd, so will try the smaller needle trick for that side. My question is, should the 1st half be a little larger (looking like it has more rows) than the second half?

The two halves should be the same size

Well, I have 2! Wooooo hoooooo! (and 3 bad ones that the cats love but have extra yarn). AND I'm not doing the crochet. Have decided to keep my good mood and read my book rather than press myself like a lemon on this week's challenge. Hoping for a kinder pattern tomorrow!
