Hi all! I chose Past Perfect but did some substitutions myself. I added birch white to the scheme, along with the princess pink, fresh flower, mauve glow, celadon, and blue gown from Past Perfect. I am more a girly girl so Pink has always been my "signature" color. Mine also is going into my bedroom where I spend about half my time...

I can NOT wait to get started on this..

Just placed my order!!! My colors are:

Black
Tibetan Red
Birch White
Breath of Blue
Blue Gown

We wanted the color to be mostly black with grey and an accent of red... since there weren't any greys, we chose the blues. I LOVED the last CAL - made 3 afghans at one time... first time, I've ever actually finished anything!!! Really looking forward to getting started on this one!

OOohh very nice!! I put them together on the My Palette page? I would never have thought to put those blues with the black and red but it looks great!

My sister wanted to choose grey also. I guess that grey is not "in style" right now. :hrmm:
Oh well....I think you made great choices for your colors.

I can't believe you made THREE afghans last time! :notworthy:

I think I finally found my colors...any feedback? I loved the simplicity line, but I made one substitution. I'm just unsure which to make my main color.

I need a fifth color to go with my crocheted afghan. Right now I am sticking with the "Beautiful Things" color palette and making this for my mom. Here living room has off white walls, burgundy drapes and her sofa is this floral pattern with burgundy roses and hunter green stripes and lighter pinks and lighter green leaves. She also has two light mauve/dusty pink chairs in that room. So basically the Beautiful Things is perfect, only she's not a huge green fan so I am using willow as one of the contrast colors.
I need one more contrasting color to go with these, or some other suggestions. I LOVE the incense color but I am afraid it might mismatch her drapes, or do you think it would be ok if used as a contrast and if its placed next to the porcelain red, is it going to make that one look too orange,(which isn't the look I am going for)?
Wow I'm picky. Who knew I would be this picky over my first afghan?

Main: Pink Suede
Contrast A: porcelain red
Contrast B: willow
Contrast C: incense or bitter rose
Contrast D: sundrift

Pretty choices!
Maybe you should decide which of these colors is your favorite, and let that be the main color.

If you look at the photo of the yarn on this page, the Antique looks like it's a pure tan/beige color.
