I'm a little confused. How many colours should we be working with 4 or 5? I thought it was MC, A, B & C. Now there seems to be a color D. Is the MC considered A??

Five colors. MC is not color A. It's MC, contrast A, B, C, D. Hope this helps :)

Finally finished one! And I take back all the choice words I was thinking while I did it (redid the bugger 3 times) ;) . I didn't have any trouble MAKING the popcorn stitch, but I did have trouble figuring out how to crochet back into it on the next round. The Bernat video kind of hazes over that part. I only hope I've done it right. At least the stitches are nice and popcorny. I'll post a pic now.

Just arrived home from dr. appt. Now its time to figure out the popcorn stitch. Looks easy but will see. Glad we are using color D. That is my incense color. Wonder when we will use my color B again! Time to go crochet! Yaah! :knit: :D

I have a tip for working on your popcorns.
Make sure when you do the join stitch you do it a tidge looser than feels right. This will help so much on the next row when you have to make a stitch into the top of the popcorn

I have a small request for the official photo page, could you include the colour codes used for that clue? (MC, A, B, C, D or the knit options) This would make it easier to see at a glance what colours we should have used

Here's what I had trouble with on the idea of crocheting back into the top of the popcorn, maybe you can help: when you make the popcorn, you are, in a sense, tying 5 dcs together with that little slip stitch. This makes a little circle at the top of the popcorn, as the middle dcs aren't really tied to anything. So, when you go back into the popcorn on the next round, are you supposed to go through the circle (kind of like stitching in a ch1 space), OR are you supposed to go through the middle dc of the popcorn (number 3 out of the 5 dcs). At first I went through the middle dc, but then the stitches didn't really pop anymore. So then I redid it, going through the little circle at the top of the popcorn and now they pop nicely, but the tops seem a little loose. I tried to find a video explaining this, but just kept finding ones that explain how to make the stitch, not how to go back into it.

My Husband had a hard time grasping the concept on the last one lol. He finds it fun too, I think he gets as excited as I do about new clues. :D

Same here, DH was already trying to figure out the order they would be joined in. He is enjoying this as much as I am!
