How to remember whether I am to knit a 9th row or an 11th row????? I worked several rows and realized that this was going to be a problem for me :) SO I wrote down the number of stitches that will be on my needle to determine if I am ready for a 9th row or an 11th row...... here are the number of stitches

K2 (9th row)
9
13
17
21
25
29
33
37
41
45
49
53

K1(11th row)
11
15
19
23
27
31
35
39
43
47
51
55

I hope this helps someone else who might get lost in knitting!

By the way: I am really liking this clue! So intrigued with how this is all going to come together! Hope everyone has a GREAT HAPPY knitting day! :)

Every Wednesday it just about kills me to have to work all day. All I can think is 'is it 5:00 yet, so I can get home and start working on this new clue'. I am always anxiously awaiting Wednesdays for the next clue, that it makes me sad to think we will have weeks with no clues. :tears: I guess I'll just have to find more projects.

I think you will be surprised. This is NOT the first half of clue 3. It is actually clue 2 knit on the bias. It is flying off my needles. I am almost done with the first half in just under an hour. But, sadly it is bedtime for me. Hope to finish it at work tonight.

Agreed - if I'm doing this correctly it's actually a shaker rib on the diagonal...you need to really follow the 4-row repeat on this pattern carefully...

Oh super!
Glad I haven't started yet! I am having such a time with clue 3 that I couldn't take more of that pattern for yet another week! In fact, I just went out on the noon hour to get more yarn for clue 3! :inlove:

This is getting interesting! Of course I am behind. I am still on clue #2, but I love looking over the pattern each week and reading how everyone else is doing. I hope we have a catch up week soon so I don't fall so far behind that I end up not finishing. This week is going to be hard for me to begin with because I have a deadline that I need to meet before I can really just sit and knit. But I can't wait to get started!

Happy knitting everyone!

I suspect to balance this afghan that there may be something down the middle to balance the width with the length to meet the measurements and have a 2 inch border. Just my guess! Now I'm excited to see what next week will bring.

I have the day off today, and it is freezing fog and rain. Perfect day to be inside! Anyway, I have scrubbed, dusted, and vacuumed my home, put ingredients in the crock pot for pulled pork for dinner, and will now sit, watch some tv, and work on knocking out some more of the squares! Definitely will do a clue 4 square, but will try to catch up on the remaining clue 3's, and found out I missed one clue 1 square!

I am guessing we will put the squares together in groups of four, like a pinwheel quilt look. I wonder if we will then put a border around each four square group and then sew the groups together?
