Finished!!!!

Here are my clue #4 squares. I really enjoyed this pattern and am thrilled it worked up so quickly. The first one was a little large so after that I just tightened the stitches a bit. Hopefully now I can get on with some of my KAL squares, they do not work up nearly so quickly  .

As you can see from the picture, I used the hook shown for both and they came out different sizes, even though the labels for both yarns were very similar in size, weight, skein length, hook size suggestion, and stitches per inch.

The Waverly yarn has a lofty, light texture. I think it adds a tiny bit of "umph" to the way the stitches "stand up"....so it affects the gauge a tiny bit.

Very true, I also thought others might like seeing the differences between the Waverly yarn and another yarn. :cooldude: I am loving the differences! I am getting excited to see the end results and how these motifs will all go together.

Looks like round 2 is off, which makes round 3 off. The three clusters of popcorn stitches should be above each popcorn in row 1, with the ch4s inbetween. Looks like maybe your ch4s are in the wrong place?

That is what happened to me on the one I made last night--the chart helped me find where the chains/popcorns should be in relation to each other. I think I frogged this one at least six times but the final outcome was worth it and the rest should be lots easier. Good luck with yours.

Beautiful!!!! I have not tried that with my pieces--I may have to dig them out of the storage tub and see how they look. Thanks for taking the time to share the pic.

Other than that Clue #4 is going well for me after I figured it out. Pictures you are all posting are looking great!!

Do you have a "kitty helper" or just an uncooperative skein? That sort of reminds me of fishing line when I was learning to cast.
