Have my clue 4 done. I hope I don't need color D for anything else. I only have 1/2 skein of it left. Here is the picture:

wow I accidently discovered something this week. I was using a size 6 hook to make all my previous clues, but had picked up my 5 to work on something different and then went back to the clues and forgot I had been using 6 on them, I made my final motif from last week and it measured perfectly. So 5 of my motifs were made with a hook 6 and 1 with a hook 5 and I dare anyone to tell me they can spot it.
Thing is, my hand is not working quite as well as it should be so I cannot hold my yarn the way I am used to. As a result I loosened up and did perfect gauge! I just find it really odd. I even did 9 of this weeks clue using the smaller hook and all are exact. I thought I had been loosening up before, but this kind of proves I was still holding it too tight. To think, I am now using the recommended hook size and getting perfect! Now to finish the other 3 motifs before my hand heals and I lose the new tension

I did it! Yay Me! :bravo: After having so much trouble with this clue I finally did it. Here is my pic. The resizing has elongated the picture, but it came out perfectly square.

Here is a pic of just one of my squares. I love that this clue is 3 dimensional and squishy! :D

HI again. Okay, I finished another square and here's the picture. I think it looks a lot better after following several of your suggestions. I think I might have tackled the problem :notworthy:

Love seeing all your squares! :bravo:

I still haven't had time to sit down and try it out yet. But after I finish all my moderation stuff in here tonight, I have an appointment with my living room chair, my size H hook, a skein of Bernat Waverly, a bottle of water, and maybe a movie on Netflix.

Other than that Clue #4 is going well for me after I figured it out. Pictures you are all posting are looking great!!

Do you have a "kitty helper" or just an uncooperative skein? That sort of reminds me of fishing line when I was learning to cast.

That was purely an uncooperative skein!! :(

Yeah....been there. Just take a deep breath, relax your wrists, and gently work it apart. Listening to nice music helps too!

Shandeh thanks for the encouragement. It's always a challenge untangling the mess of yarn but I got it and was able to do several squares today!! I have 10 more to do for afghan #2.
Here's a photo of all of the colors and clues coming together.....
