I had so much fun with this clue that I finished way earlier than I expected. It was nice to see D colour finally. The only thing now is weaving in all the centre tails. I detest weaving in ends :tears:

OOOOH I love this square. From the looks of it, all my Color D will be gone by this. I kinda skipped clue 3... I lost my J hook last week and just finally got a new one. Back to my crocheting! :knit: Have fun everyone. Will post pictures tomorrow.

On a side note, I LOVE THIS SMILEY. He really makes me laugh.

now that's a great idea. :!: I'd love to use the same, but the small size (after that nightmare guitar blanket i'm already in the middle off) told me "no way". If i made them a bit larger it might be a good plan...especially after I see how these fine ladies (and gents, if there are any) are assembling them.

Weave in as you go! I find if I stop during the second round (or just before actually starting the second round) and take time to weave that yarn in right then that I am much happier when I finish the motif since I only have to cut my tail to 12 inches and all done. I do make sure I have my size right and that it looks proper before doing this though. So I only start to weave in after the first motif, in case I need to remove the first one I make. I timed how long it takes me to do one motif from start to end and it takes me 22 minutes, including tying in the centre tail neatly

this is my clue 4 for the 2 afghans I am working on....still have 3 of the green color left to finsh and I must say between work and lack of sleep (from working ot) I haven't enjoyed this square. Maybe when I get some much needed sleep I can re-evaluate the stitch...

Finished Clue #4 Friday evening. Nice one! Can't wait to see how this all goes together, but definitely want to figure out a "join as you go" method for the second one I'll do.
