I believe it's best to stick with just ONE badge, showing your progress in the KAL/CAL.

When you finish Clue #1, you display the badge for #1.
When you finish Clue #2, you no longer display the #1 badge, and use the #2 badge instead. It shows that you have completed two clues so far.
And so on, with each clue.

This will keep our signatures from being too large, and make it easier for everyone to scroll down through the conversations.

Some people are browsing the forum, using their tiny smartphones, and they have to constantly scroll down over and over again with their fingers. All the large signatures are making it take a very long time for them to get around in the forum.

I've noticed some people have their Clue #5 badges, but I can only see up to #4?

We include them in the clue posts, but they're also now added to the master list :)

How do I get those icons to show on my account?

Postby Azim » Sat Mar 24, 2012 9:32 pm

I have really been enjoying this project and even though I just started two weeks ago, I am almost caught up with the group. Lots of long nights, but it has really been fun! I see everyone else has an octagon with sections filled in and balls of yarn associated with their account. How do I get those things on my account?

For this purpose they are called badges. Go to page one of the first clue and copy the link.
Then when you finish each clue replace it with the next badge located on the first page of each clue, just scroll down towards the bottom of post one, right about where the link to add it is, till you are all caught up! I believe the instructions on how to add it are there too.
Congratulations on joining and being so quick!

signature block

Postby alahooker » Sun Apr 01, 2012 3:44 am

I cannot get all my badges to show. My signature block will only let me put 255 characters in it.

Hi. Somewhere someone wrote that this might happen. You go into user control panel and edit your signature to have only the badge that shows all the sections you've finished. All the previous badges have to go. Hope that helps. :hellogoodbye:
