OMG! I am so far behind! I havent finished with clue 2 yet! We went on vacation the week that clue two came out and I was unable to bring all my yarn with me and then I was preparing for an event (I have an etsy shop), that I was selling my items at this past Sunday. Lets hope week 5 is an easy one so I can hopefully catch up (doubtful though as I am recieving my new sewing machine today, so I HAVE to play with it!

I finally finished clue #4. Whew! For some reason, I just had trouble working up the motivation to do this square. :idonno: I really like it though, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together. :D

AlleyTalley wrote:Yes, I am making two. Thank you  , Heyhey, for answering for me. I am a bit overwhelmed with all that has happened since last Friday but am surviving. For those of you who did not "hear", my mother's cancer has returned and it's terminal. They have given her 3 months to live. I am visiting with her right now. My daughter and granddaughter are flying in tonight for a visit. I will be here for two weeks, back home to Alabama for a short rest then back to Kentucky for two more weeks.

You are welcome. Knew you were traveling . Stay strong. We are praying for you!

I was going on vacation and decided to use the time on the plane to catch up before the next clue. I sat next to a six year old boy. He held my chart and told me "oval, oval, cross, cross, cross" He told his mom that I had "old lady homework to do" I used some of my color D to teach him to finger knit. I got done with clue 3 and paid $5.00 to get on the web at the hotel to get clue four. Wouldn't you know the clue was all color D. I ran out on the way home and made my husband stop at the craft store on the way home from the airport. I am
learning so much doing this.

You have been a committed crocheter with this project!
Love the story about the little boy. Ha!

No worries. The total time for this project is 15 weeks, but there will be some catch up weeks as well.

Alley.....I so understand, and I'm so sorry to hear that. The same thing happened to us in August of last year. My mom had been declared cancer free 8 months earlier, then it was back in August, and she passed away November 9th. If you EVER need someone to talk to, I'd gladly give you my phone number. I was my mom's patient advocate and held her health care power of attorney and living will...besides having a perspective that can understand.

All my best.
