Thank you, everyone, for the prayers and encouraging messages. I greatly appreciate them. I will be on here as much as I can and try to keep up with all the clue. Crocheting got me through the care and death of my father from a massive stroke last year and I know it will help me through the eventual death of my mother. Thank you all.

I honestly hate doing popcorn stitches. I have never liked them and am finding it hard to get motivated on the squares for this past week. I made one, and just don't care if I ever make another one with popcorn stitches in it. Before the end of the CAL I suppose I'll get them done. Or maybe I'll just substitute another square pattern for it.

Yes, I am making two. Thank you , Heyhey, for answering for me. I am a bit overwhelmed with all that has happened since last Friday but am surviving. For those of you who did not "hear", my mother's cancer has returned and it's terminal. They have given her 3 months to live. I am visiting with her right now. My daughter and granddaughter are flying in tonight for a visit. I will be here for two weeks, back home to Alabama for a short rest then back to Kentucky for two more weeks.

So sorry to hear about your mother. Saying a prayer for her (and for strength for you!)
