I've never done a granny square before so I feel a little intimated :scared: with this octagon. Looking at my MC and hoping I have enough to finish this.... I have 3 1/4 skeins left.... off to figure this out... :knit: :reading: :knit:

It looks like there's a lot of anxious crocheters out there. 8-) I can hardly wait for Wed. morning. I'm still a little behind because I made some color changes, but I love to be here for a early look. :cloud9:

Despite the length of the clue, they are actually very easy and very repetitive. If you have done the other octagons, these will be a breeze and you will wonder why you haven't done grannies before.

I am thankful for Wednesday and crochet and sunshine. Have you ever had to sit and wait for grass to dry before you can go out and mow the yard? Well, it SOUNDS like a good excuse to me! This looks fairly easy, do a lot of Grannies so this is going to be fun! Happy crocheting everyone! :cloud9:

I have a question - I only see blocking instructions for blocks 1-6. Does this mean we will be spending 9 weeks putting the afghan together?
