To me... this is the easiest of the clues, so far. But... I was nearly finished with the first motif when I discovered I messed up and had to FROG 3 rounds. Don't ask me how I didn't catch the mistake before then.

I am usually a very tight crocheter so I've been working on loosening my tension. I discovered I don't need to do that for this motif. My first one was 1/4 inch over, all the way around!!!

Off to enjoy myself and finish the rest of this clue. Happy hooking everyone!

everyone's look nice already, but gheesh folks, I've only got 7 squares done for last week. Ok, forgetting 3 in the family room at the hospital didn't help my tally and neither did 3 days in the hospital sitting with my Mom for my Aunt didn't either, but golly.

I never did a granny before but I followed the written instructions and got it done. I was short on the 11 inches so I really loosened up my tension on the last round. That made it come out to the 11 inches. Now on to the other 5 blocks. Really need to watch my tension.. I am a tight crocheter!

I am, too. My clue #2s all came out at 8"!!! I REALLY loosened up for clue #3 and got them up to 10.5". Went back and redid clue 2, and now clue 5 is at exactly 11". Crazy!

It's a compulsion....when there are hundreds of other things i SHOULD be doing.....I have 2 done for Clue 5....but i keep getting sidetracked by other stuff....

Well thanks to my cable being out I have been able to get 4 of the 6 completed. It numbs my brain so I need breaks. I don't know how I am going to make the other 6 for the second afghan.
