I'm trying to save the pdf to my computer, but there isn't a save button anywhere. I want to save it and print it after I get some chores done. I have a house full off sick kiddos and so starting on them isn't an option now. Does anyone have any idea on what I'm doing wrong that there isn't a little save icon? Thank you :)

Which browser are you using? It's different in each browser. I'm using Chrome, and if you hover in the bottom right corner all the "save", "print" and other menus magically appear.

Thanks for your responses, all! I have tendonitis, so I wanted to get an idea ahead of time of which hook to use. I really didn't want to do an entire Octagon again, only to have it too small! :cloud9:

I've been weaving mine in. I want to use one color to join and I'm thinking it will be neater (for me).

I weave in also. I want to use this CAL on our king-size bed and if I need to make it bigger, I plan to add a couple of rows of MC to each of my motifs and join in MC.

I think I am a real odd-ball because I have used the H hook for everything so far and they have all turned out to be almost right-on the templates. I really don't hold my yarn--just let it flow through the fingers of my left hand.

I have not tried this one yet--too many things had to be done today but I plan to work on it tonight--hope I can continue to use my trusty H hook.

My spacing turned out just fine when following the pattern as it was written. Maybe go back a rnd or 2 and dbl check that you didn't miss a st somewhere. I did in rnd 4 and had to fix it before I moved to rnd 5. Hope this helps...Good Luck!

I think she means in the PDF text of the pattern instructions. The first line of Round 5 is all mushed together. Makes it hard to read.

Yeah, that's what I meant. :cooldude:

Teeyay, I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm having a heck of a time reading them and staying on the right line even when they are spaced correctly. I've actually had to go and highlight every second line, and use alternating colours for each round. I'm so sad for me.

And I don't even wear glasses!!

I'm having trouble too and I don't wear glasses either. I have some for reading, but never use them. I am reading my clues right from the computer screen. I need to start printing them out and highlighting like you. That's a great idea!

Nevermind, my son helped me find a way :)
