Loved this motif...was so easy to do! (Well, once I figured it out!)

She will finish up the blanket herself. I let her choose the colors for the KAL blanket. ;)

You're such a sweet sister. Can I adopt you? :-)

That's the way I felt about this clue at first, but I got lots of encouragement and advice in here, and was able to figure it out. You can do it! Just take your time, and be patient.

I'm posting a video of that clue tonight, so if all else fails, that should help a bit.

I made one, and just don't care if I ever make another one with popcorn stitches in it. Before the end of the CAL I suppose I'll get them done. Or maybe I'll just substitute another square pattern for it. :ire:

Your blanket will be just as beautiful with different squares in those spots. :)

Pretty! And I agree about the "figuring it out easiness". ;)

Thanks Shandeh for your response.

I figured I'd wait until we have all the clues and see which square I like best. Or I may even do the popcorn stitch one. I've been crocheting for 40 yrs and have never liked doing popcorn or cluster stitches. I can do them, I just prefer not to. And, now that I have pretty bad arthritis in my hands, it is even harder to do them, especially in this clue 4 square pattern.

Otherwise ... crochet on!

I finished recording the simple video of this clue in action, and tried to upload it to YouTube, but my computer locked up and gave me a boot disk error message. Weird!

I got my computer running again, but will need to try the YouTube thing again this afternoon. Wish me luck!

I'm looking forward to seeing your video. This motif is giving me some troubles. But I think I've figured it out finally! This one is hard on my hands for some reason. I think I'll work on clue 5 a little in between the clue 4 motifs to give my hands a little bit of a break.
