Wow this one is easy enough you can do an Octagon afghan with just increase numbers every row. :reading:

That's true, and you could change colours each row too.

First one done and first goal for joining the CAL accomplished. I did it with only the chart, didn't look at the written once. Been doing this for 35 years and never used a chart. Now if I can accomplish the second goal and get over my hang up about motifs, I'll be very happy.

And yes, an one octagon granny makes a killer baby blanket. I have made several, they are sturdy and warm.

Good for you using only the chart :notworthy: , it is something I am trying too, but I keep cheating & looking at the written instructions :reading: . I now wish more patterns used charts, I find charts make the written instructions easier to follow.

After looking at all the pictures, mine came out looking like everyone elses. The only thing that concerns me is that it makes me feel like I'm the only one who is using the Birch White as my MC! I hope this makes it look pretty enough to give to my little girl! :hrmm:
