I just haven't had time to start this yet. I really want to, but have been so busy. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should do white instead of black for the bottom of the purse, or decide on a pretty color and just make one flower instead of using more neutral colors for the purse and making detachable flowers... :idonno:

I am terrible about making decisions but my brown/grey neutral colours with the big orange/red flower do look striking. I also like the idea of doing bright colours like purple and turquiose with a neutral colour flower like grey or something. Why not choose a colour that will match your favourite summer outfit?

I'm going to have to buy a new favorite summer outfit. Last year it was anything lightweight and black that I could wear with a back brace and not have it be too noticeable since I was recovering from spine surgery. Since then, I'm not in a brace and fully recovered, have lost a few pounds, and a lot of muscles have been toned up since the surgery since I can finally workout a bit and such. I'm looking forward to finding a new favorite summer outfit, but I have no idea what colors it'll end up being.. I wish I was better at making decisions

I've managed to finish this week's CAL clues and have been working on my purse off and on today. I've gotten about 4 rows of tears in, but doing it in a white cotton leaves something to be desired. I'm thinking of frogging and adding some beads to the tips of the tears. I hate to rip out that much work, but I believe it'll be better in the end. Or, I could just finish this one and then go buy more yarn and make another one!!! I also think I will line this with some scrap fabric I have laying around and use plastic or bamboo handles instead of the crocheted ones.

Maybe instead of frogging it, on your next complete round when you start the tears again, start adding your beads then. This way you don't lose so much work. I don't think it would look bad to not have them on the whole thing

Or you could just sew the beads on, where you want them to be.

That's what's going to have to happen!!! I looked through my bead stash and don't have enough beads with big enough holes :tears: . Guess I'll just have to finish it and then sew the beads on. It won't be that big of a deal since I'm planning on sewing in a lining anyway.

And just think, less pre-planning on where to place them so they get into the right spot! Win-win eh! oh the possibilities that are opening up now.
