Since I can't knit this week I used the official images and played around in paint and came up with this as a first possibility.
(If I had been able to finish 1 of clue 4 I would have used my personal squares to play with)Looking at it, I think I should have moved clue three out of the centre and left that blank for now. Maybe the centre square will be something that says 'KAL 2012"

Another try
I like the square look!

a good idea ... the paper ! My squares are too big to try and move for all possibilities !!!

I've done something similar to that on my computer before.
I just use photos of each block, and copy and paste them in Paint.

Hmmm...that is a great idea Shandeh. I was just trying to think of how I could work on this on the computer instead of laying out all of the squares. I have one more square of Clue 4 to finish and need to block 3 before I can try out this SUPER idea.

I love using Paint for stuff like this. Let's me design things "virtually". ;)

That's pretty, Karenarp!

i'm playing around in Picture Collage (a free app on macs, if anyone is interested) and came up with this possibility. i realize that it's square, so it probably isn't the end result, but i like it.

we know there will be more of color A, so i added a border around each clue #2 square. i also played around with pinwheel configurations, but couldn't find anything i liked as much as this.

I just quickly arranged the squares I have completed before my kids or pets could start trampling and here's what I came up with.... (Not great photography here)

I really like your second one! Now if you were to take your first one in the third row out and replace the third one from that same row and then use the third one in the fifth and move the fifth back to the first one then the stripes would look more complete.
Great colour selection you have too!
