Knit-Along Week 5: Blanket Possibilities

here's my chaos theory blanket.

I love your layout of your squares. It fits with the size they say it is suppose to be - 45 x 59.

Also, how much of Color A is going to be put into the afghan. I figured your first picture would leave enough space to use up 3 skeins of Color A. Any thoughts on that?

I think it is going to be arranged like the Pinwheel Star or maybe the Sawtooth Star ( they are both popular quilt blocks)

hadn't thought of a sawtooth star! here's one more possibility.

Ok. I'm playing with my still unblocked squares (4 Clue 3's are now redone and perfect!), but using the idea I like best, here are the two options I have tried (slightly different). At least I am now motivated to get the other 4 Clue 3 squares redone!

I love them Now I have to go and knit. I have been messing around with about five other projects, but I need to knit my squares so that I, too, can say that my first knitted blanket looks this beautiful Thanks for sharing.

Okay. Been playing around (hubby says it's been an hour so this is it, folks!). I think I like this combo the best of all - it's the most symmetrical I can come up with. You Can click on the thumbnail photo to open larger and access my photo folder to see the other attempts I tried but didn't like enough to post on the forum. Now for a grand tour of the garden to see what is peeking through!



Oh drat! Just one more possibility! Really got to do something else now since I've been at this all day!!!

I love them both. I wonder how these would look with color a added for the joins. I'm anxious to finish my last 2 block of clue #4 so I can try laying them out like this to see how my colors work together.

And your brain will just keep on generating more, and more, and more...... It's fun! I like that star in the middle....hadn't thought of laying it that way. Will have to try that one when all the boys are out of the house!

Loved all the possiblities. I can't wait to try arranging mine. Still need 1 1/2 of clue 4 and 3 of clue 3. Hate thinking that I also have to re-do 1 of clue 2 and 1 of clue 3. I probably won't be finished by Wednesday but I'm getting there. Thank goodness for this catch up week.

Well I have mine laid out, but I know it will be something totally different with my color A (Classic Navy) added.
