Discontinued Bernat Yarns

I downloaded the Baby lash Blanket pattern last week, and started the blanket. Now that I am ready to finish it, the pattern has disappeared from the website. Does anyone have this pattern in their stash???
Help!! I need this blanket for a shower this weekend.

Your best bet would be to contact Bernat at inquire@bernat.com.
They might still have the pattern in their files.
They could access it much quicker than we could.

I have a crochet afghan pattern I plan on stitching. It calls for Lion Brand Silky Twist yarn. I'd really rather use Bernat. Does Bernat have an equivalent yarn I can substitute?

I am not familiar wth that particular yarn.

Whenever you change to a different yarn, you need to know a lot about the original yarn.

What gauge does it knit to?
What size needles does it call for?
What kind of fiber is it? Acrylic? Polyester?
Is it a sturdy yarn? Soft? Slippery?

All of those things are important, because the pattern was designed with those characteristics in mind.
