That is a beautiful doily. Just wondering, is the pillow already stuffed? Or can you remove the cover to make sewing the doily on it easier? Or am I the only one who thinks it would be difficult to sew it on stuffed pillow?
Cannot wait to see it!

Thank you!!! My pillows already have a removable cover. It is easier for washing purposes. As soon as the doilies are blocked (tomorrow) I will pin them and let you know which way is best.

I am sure that once you start crocheting with thread, you will want to make more than doilies, there are so many nice things to do with it. A few years back I made a tablecloth, and shawl among other things. So give it a try I am sure you'll like it

I saw this pattern and thought it interesting, but I have never used thread so I was a little intimidated...doilies on pillows is such a neat idea!

No need to feel intimidated, just imagine the thread as if it was a skein of yarn, it is just a tiny little bit thinner. ;) Once you get the hang of it it becomes as natural as crocheting yarn. It makes wonderful masterpieces

Pinning done! ;) and sewing is almost finish. I found it easier to pin it on the stuffed pillow. You can easily spread the doily equally and pin it to size better that way and for me it was quicker than pinning it on the cover only. As for sewing it takes a little longer just taking care not to sew the stuffing at the same time.
Your wait is almost over, I am finishing to sew it in place and I will post the picture later :)
