This is awesome!
If I can get my hands on another set of Waverly I would really like to try my hand on this (once I can knit again)
You are totally inspiring, I love your colour choice and how this is looking.
How are you doing on it now? Have you completed it yet?

I'm so glad you like this. I am very impressed with the pattern myself. I am just over 65% done with it now. The pattern is 12 rows of one color, 12 rows of another color, and 12 rows of a third color, with 9 repeats, for a total of 360 rows plus the 7 border rows on each end. I am knitting 6 rows a night and should be finished by April 10th, which will be 2 months from when I started on February 10th. I like the fact that it knits up in one piece, no sewing strips or pieces together! It feels so soft. I will get a lot of use out of this one! I hope you can find the yarn and get a chance to try this one yourself. I think you will be as pleased as I am. :cloud9:

I am planning on making this afghan for my daughter. I am hoping to start it in September. I figure it will be to hot to work on it through the summer.

I am planning on using Mauve Glow and Fresh Flower. I am trying to decide whether Princess or Sundrift or ? Would be the best 3rd colour. I already have the Mauve Glow and Fresh Flower.

Princess would be my pick.

You are right about this one being too hot to work on in the summer! I have about 45" done right now and with the recent warm spell that we have had, I am finding out just how nice and cozy this blanket can be.

Given a choice between Sundrift and Princess, I would go with the Princess. Myself, I would use Birch White for the 3rd color.

Happy knitting!
