Blocking only makes squares straighter and/or larger. It won't shrink them.
If your squares are all the same size, your blanket will look just fine. It will just be larger than the original design. You will probably have to adjust the design for the border.

Well, now I can breathe a sigh of relief! I was worried there....no way was I going to take them all apart.
Thank you Shandeh for that welcome news.

All of my squares are completed, but not blocked. Traveling on business this week, so bringing the finished work along was not practical.

Looking forward to the next steps, including catching up on the blocking.

I have done the same as you, except I have finished the third if clue 3, and started the second of clue 4. Good thing we got a make up week, I am no further behind, I spent most of this week sick with the fever flu. But I am finally working again, but slowed down by sick toddlers, I think tomorrow will be a good day! :knit: :knit:

Just finished :knit: my 1st clue 2 square to add to my two clue 1 squares. Not going to met my goal :rainy: to have one of each clue made by Wednesday. I had too many restarts  (at least 10 times, so many I lost count) on the clue 2 till I got it right

I used styrofoam and drew my 9.5x9.5 squares on with permenant marker (well my dad did cause me and straight lines never happen) and then covered it with parchment paper...I threaded some smaller needles through to form a frame and then used safty pins at the corners cause the sewing pins are buried somewhere in the abyss of the storage ;)
Taking the first two off tomorrow to see how she looks!

I am so far behind...It's sort of Bernat's fault. LOL Went to the store to show my Mom all the Beautiful Waverly colors but found some Twist and Twirl, I had to try it, so I bought 3 different colors, and have made one scarf so far. Then went shopping again with my sister, stopped by the yarn department and found the pattern for the HOBO BAG, and had to buy some Handicrafter Cotton to make that. 3/4's done that.....I have decided that in order to get caught up with the KAL, I can not allow myself any more trips to the store. My husband just laughs at my "addiction" So really it is not Bernat's fault, I just can not say NO to all their beautiful products and projects.
