It only allows an image of 2MB or less. I had to compress my pics to get them to load.

You Can click on the thumbnail photo to open larger and access my photo folder to see the other attempts I tried but didn't like enough to post on the forum. Now for a grand tour of the garden to see what is peeking through!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this look.....I never even thought to lay them out this way...it looks like an Amish style quilt.
I just assumed the triangles would go together to make diamonds...never thought of a star shape. Depending on what the border is, maybe I can lay mine out this way even if the pattern says differently...

Be sure to read the photo tutorial I made:

KAL afghan layout 1.jpg

I did a picture through a drawing program using my colors and the layout I liked (from all I have seen here) and then added my border with Color A (Classic Navy).

I haven't got enough done ( Still have 4 of clue # 3 and all of Clue 4 to go) for me to really try and visualize. But with everyone else's great pictures I thing this is definately going to be an interesting afghan.

I've also the 8 yellow-red squares ! But your ligth blue is white for me, and your navy blue is black ....
Your disposal should be quite convenient with my palette .... I'll try to put them that way !

We have another day to wait for the next clue :hrmm: .......... :scared:

So exciting to see the possibilities. I love them all but there is the one design that really catches my eye - so I tried with a drawing program and my colors and following the lead of the other design I have put together my blocks the same way and I added the border around the side. Still not sure about the measurements as I feel it is not wide enough and there will be something down the middle to make up the difference.
