Didn't have any :tears: Lovely daughter then told me that we got it at a different store and the reason I only bought 4 was because I bought all the store had. "Unfortunately" I bought more yarn, this time to do the 2010 CAL and once again I bought the store out of the color I loved.

Oh dear! I hope you are able to find more of your color.

Yeah, that can happen. It depends on the person, of course. But, usually crochet is faster than knitting.

I know that not everyone is caught up but for the first time (this is my 3rd CAL) I am keeping up, so I am NOT looking forward to catch up weeks! It will leave my hands super bored! I have so far done an entire project between each clue. Finishing a diaper bag, blanket, and 2 dresses and I am almost finished with a 3rd dress! I am going through my "stash" yarn so quickly I won't have any by the time this project is finished!!!! I guess that could be a good thing, but then I will feel the overwhelming urge to go buy more yarn!!!!

Yeah, I too am keeping up (this is my first crochet project) and I finally finished Clue 5. I am so happy that I have been able to get the clues done before the next one comes out.

 I was hoping to finish Clue 5 last night and realized I had run out of my MC (I knew I didn't buy enough at the start but funding was an issue at the time.) I'm not sure when I'll be able to get to the store to buy another skein. Hopefully I can leave work a little early today or tomorrow and run to the store before getting the kids at school...

I wouldn't mind a week to finish up clue 5. My motivation was a little low this past week, working a lot, so I finished clue 4 last night and have two done up of clue 5. Life must go on, can't put in on hold to crochet!
Looking foward to see the next clue!! ;)

I have enjoyed crocheting outside (can't imagine doing this in March in NE Ohio), last night the Goodyear blimp came by, seemed to circle above before going back to its base, quite fun. I'm off for a quick walk before the next clue comes up. I enjoy seeing pics of everyone's work and learning new ideas that you all have shared, thanks!

I, too, am from NE Ohio (Canton/Massillon area) and the weather has been wonderful.

I have used an H hook for all blocks so far. Looking forward to the next clue!
