Knit-Along Clue 5 (Week 6): Spoilers and Photos

Postby Kaleigh » Wed Mar 21, 2012 9:55 am

Warning: This post will spoil KAL Clues 1-5 for you! If you don't want to know what the afghan looks like yet, don't read any further!

We've made all of our squares... but how will they go together?

This week, check out the PDF and sew your squares together!

Just like last week, I'm going to make a bunch of space here.

If you don't leave now, you might see Clues 1-5!

An unrelated photo to take up space:

Alright, let's see those borderless afghans!

I thought it was going to take so much longer to put the squares together, but wow I just finished! I decided to go with a different design. Thanks to Bernat for this KAL. I've learned so many valuable lessons...most importantly gauge/tension. I just need to weave in all the ends once I'm sure it's safe to do so.
I hope everyone is enjoying this as much as I am! :cloud9:

Your afghan looks wonderful! :bravo: I guess you are a "knitmaniac" finishing all that sewing so quickly. Using your own design really personalizes it too. Now all you have left is the border.

I have finished the bottom two rows of layout Bernat gave, so I thought I would post it.

Beautiful work!! I am involved in so many different projects right now, but as a less experienced knitter, I have to say that viewing the different layouts and colours of the KAL is my favourite passtime right now :bravo:
