I'll definitely be checking out some videos for this one. It's been a loooooong time since I did a double treble. Looks like a lot of concentrating for this one. Looking forward to trying it out. But since it's my husband's birthday, I may have to wait a day or two. Drat.

I just can't decide if I should work over the whole post or actually put the stitches into the post itself... :helpme:

Why start over? If they're a bit small, you'll just have a slightly smaller afghan. You can always add extra border if you need to make the overall size larger...

I'm not sure I understand how to work into the side of a sc either. I have a feeling I'll be searching google for some help in a little bit.

I tried Google and didn't find anything, please post a link if you find one. Here is what it seems like to me, after working a couple: think of a single crochet as the letter T. We normally crochet into the top of the stitch, which would be like the horizontal line of the T. I think that stitching "into the side" means you would stitch into the vertical part of the T instead of the horizontal part. That's probably clear as mud, but it seems to make sense when you're stitching!

you are right you stitch around the vertical part of the sc instead of the top. :knit:

Just finished my first one of Clue 6. It is really lacy. It's pretty, but I'm not used to working with something that "open." It kept flopping around while I was stitching! Anyway, I used the same hook I used for Clues 2-5 (a J hook for me) and it came out to the right size, just FYI.

Do I rip up the clue 3 block that I did weeks ago, (I've only managed to get one done) and use B and C as I originaly intended. Or switch my B for my C. I can't decide what to do, your opinions would be very helpful.

Thanks

I would probably just switch B and C.

I did the same thing and just decided to switch my two. The only real colors I picked out for a specified place were the MC and the contrast D.

Thanks, I will switch B for C. I panicked a little this morning when I grabbed my yarn before work.

Thanks again.
