Ha finally finished clue 5 and ready to start clue 6. Looked at the spoilers and photos and I am a bit intimidated by this clue but I will give it my best effort! On spring break this week so as soon as I get back from buying yarn for my other wip I will start on clue 6. Good luck to you all happy crocheting!

"(Yoh and draw up a loop in side of sc just worked. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook "

I feel silly asking, but does this mean I have to do the parenthesis portioned twice and then make the second part?

I can't wait to start this Clue at lunchtime.

IMAGINE my frustration this morning when I had to attend a meeting at 10am. :ire: Don't they know that you can't schedule these things on Wednesday at 10am.

Let's just say that I was a few minutes late to the meeting due to an important matter that had to be attended to ;) ;) (had to see the Clue before I had to be away from my computer for a whole hour).
Happy knitting and crocheting!!

I had to take a client to the library at 10 AM, why oh why does the universe have to plan things at 10am on a Wednesday when I'm waiting for important stuff like my clue for my mystery CAL...lol Now that I have it I can get down to serious stuff like crocheting!!!! As I read the directions I'm liking this already, another fancy pattern with the double crochet & clusters! Yahooooo, I'm so happy happy!

Looking at the insructions for the 1st round, do you need to fasten off when done? It doesn't say that, but It looks like it on the diagram.

All help is appreciated!

Frances

Don't fasten off. When you're finished the double treble you'll find yourself at the top of the tall stitch, ready to start the next round.

Do I rip up the clue 3 block that I did weeks ago, (I've only managed to get one done) and use B and C as I originaly intended. Or switch my B for my C. I can't decide what to do, your opinions would be very helpful.

Thanks

You can definitely switch B and C. They are used similarly in the blanket so it won't make a huge difference.

Yes, you do the part in parenthesis twice. If you only do it once, you don't have any loops on the hook to draw through. Figured that one out by trial and error. :)

That's exactly right! You do everything within the parentheses two times, and then the following instructions.

I'm not sure I understand how to work into the side of a sc either. I have a feeling I'll be searching google for some help in a little bit.

When I worked on it, I stitched in the middle of what I would consider the "post" of the sc. Hope that was right. Seemed to work for me. Will check out some spoilers after I finish the last few rounds when the kids go down after lunch.
