Hi scoobaroo. This may help you. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DnzW77bU6pm8&v=nzW77bU6pm8&gl=US

I was interested in seeing Round 4, but this link is not showing anything relating to crocheting, or am I just not seeing it.

Hi scoobaroo,

This video shows how to do a cluster stitch which is the stitch for round 4. It won't show you how to do the whole round 4 of course. I don't think Shandeh has a video up yet for this motif. So this particular video is done by someone else showing the cluster stitch.

Just found that the link is for a android tablet. I'm on my tablet. Sorry. Here's the link for a pc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzW77bU6pm8

Tiffanna, I think I understand your question. :-) The directions say to crochet in side, but it should read to crochet inside SC. So crochet like you normally would inside the SC.

We are literally putting the cluster in the side of the previous sc. It's not going in the top of the stitch like a typical stitch. This causes the cluster to lay on its side.

I did it around the two little legs on the left-hand side (as you're looking at the stitch), not around the post. Putting it around the post will make it kind of bulky, IMHO and possibly cause problems when joinging at the end of the round.

This is how I did it also.

Hi Nicolep,

Right........... You will be going in from the side, because you're going backwards instead of forwards so to speak, so you're going fully inside the sc, but coming inside the stitch from the side. I was thinking that folks were confused and wanted them to know to still crochet fully into the stitch. :-)

Thanks,

Love your motif. I've completed row 4 and love the way it looks, but my piece looks more like a cap because chain stitches that I did in row 3 aren't allowing the piece to lie flat. Did you chain stitch looser than normal to get your piece to lie flat?

Mine was doing the same thing up until I started the last row, it seemed to work itself out

I'll keep going then. I thought of ripping out and beginning all over. I often need to use a large hook for the larger motifs, so I may need to begin again anyway! Thanks for your reply
