I don't usually have this much trouble with these clues, I'm sort of disappointed in myself right now!
I think I am going to take a break and walk down to check the mail in the rain
Hopefully when I get back It will work out for me.

Don't be intimidated! Double crochet is 1 yo, treble is 2 yo's and double treble, also known as a quadruple crochet, is 3 yo's.
As for crocheting into the side of the single crochet, it is supposed to read "inside the single crochet." Think of it as backwards crocheting. Make your single crochet and then that SC becomes the base of your cluster.

You're not the only one! I got to the end of the 7th rnd and couldn't figure out how come it wasn't ending right. Turned out, back on the third rnd, I forgot one repeat. ugh. I put it down for now. Hopefully when I pick it back up I will be brave enough to undo the rounds.
