I'm okay that the outside is rounded, because I haven't blocked anything, yet (no good place to do that when I'm watching 6 kids from ages 3 to 9 during the day) so, I might try that this weekend when it's only my 3.

Oh, 6 kids, and you still have time to crochet???? My hats off to you! :notworthy:

I love this weeks' motif! I think it is beautiful! And I must say that this has by far been my favorite Crochet project ever! The pattern is really well thought out and the CAL makes it so much fun! Thank you Bernat! I think you guys did an excellent job!!!
I'm also doing the KAL and I just ordered more yarn so I can make two!!! I love each finished block :)
It's going to be hard to wait for the next KAL/ CAL!!! :bravo:

Noooooo, I have 3 kids, but I watch my nephew and the neighbor's kids during the day, so I go from my 3yo in the morning to all 6 of them by the time they all get home from school. Crocheting is my sanity, except when things don't go right.... :)

I'm confused now with the Cluster - I was doing Yo draw up a loop in side sc; yo and draw through 2 loops on hook, leaving 3 loops on hook; yo and drawing through all 3 on hook -- this is how I have done it.

I read something here and didn't go back to find it, that it should be: yo draw up a loop in side sc, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook, yo and draw through 2 loops on hook; ending with yo drawing through 2 remaining loops on hook.

This is what is written for this clue: (Yoh and draw up a loop in side of sc just worked. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook. I was interpreting the twice to mean both those yoh's were the twice. So how many loops are on hook are we drawing through for the last part of this clue, 2 or 3.

I have only done 1 motif so far, so any help here is appreciated. Hope I'm not too confusing in my explanation.

Thanks, Donna

You will be drawing 3 loops through on your last yarn over. Yarn over and insert hook into side of the sc. Yarn over and pull through, yarn over and pull through 2 (2 loops left on hook). Yarn over and insert into side of sc again, yarn over and pull through, yarn over and pull through 2 (3 loops left on hook), yarn over and pull through all three.

Does this help any?

I turned the work 1/4 turn clock-wise, and then stitched into the two loops that were now on the top - just like you would normally do with the top of the single crochet. Err, this is hard to explain. Did I make any sense?

Thank you, that is what I did and they turned out great! Yes you make sense. :bravo:

Ugh, really? Then I so did it wrong! :smashy:

Dangit! Good thing I've only done one so far. guess I'll try to fix it for the next one. This CAL is my first time ever really following a pattern, so sometimes parenthesis and brackets give me hives. :rainy:

Finished my Clue 6. It turned out great. Different from the others we have done. I did find that you need to read the directions carefully. :idonno: I found my self forgetting, and doing a couple rows wrong. I tried to repeat a previous row similar to that row and then be wrong. Once you realize this it is fun. Now on to the rest. :hellogoodbye:
