Got it out yesterday and I not only got one block finished but I got 2 blocks finished! The pattern I used didn't contain the correction and it came out the same size as my other blocks. So I will continue making the other six the same way. I think my main issue was fatigue and losing faith in my color selection. But I kept trying and I urge anyone else to keep on trying! Now I am very pleased with the colors!

I know how you feel! I lost faith in my colour selection too!!!! Then once I had made a clue four square and once I saw the layouts, my faith is restored :cloud9:
Actually in my case the colours were picked based on what I could get and I was unsure from the get go. Now I am quite pleased :crown:

The layout did help with my color selection comfort level. I really like that this will look like a quilt when finished. I used all Waverly for the CAL and used a mix of Waverly and another brand I had on hand that had similar tones to the Past Perfect line. Just really trying to use some of my ever increasing stash!

You'll find lots of advice on the internet on how to go about doing this.
This website offers a simple explanation: http://www.knitabit.net/wisdom/increaseevenly.htm

You just want your 6 increases to be done evenly across the row.
For our project, I would divide the number of stitches in half, and space my increases 3 on each side.

It doesn't have to be perfect. Just work out a distribution that looks good to you, then write it down for quick reference later.

Your first row of all knit stitches will be on the right side.
You increase 6 stitches evenly across the wrong side.

Not at all!
Did you make yours and did it measure to the same as all your other clues?
Are you happy with your squares you did finish?

If you can answer yes then why bother making it again!!
The corrections are a way to help others in the FUTURE so they will hopefully not have as much trouble as many others here did while making this one.

Don't worry about this!
