Knit-Along Week 5: Blanket Possibilities

I love all the examples I've seen. Here are 2 that I came up with. The first one is my favourite, and the second one is a design that my brother came up with (so naturally it's his favourite).
Fingers crossed for a new clue tomorrow.

I love the first design! I think I may use that rather than bernats design my color choices were very similar to yours and I did not like them in the intended design. I put mine together in this formation and it looked quite nice. Thanks so much!

Thanks, I didn't really like the intended design either, but haven't yet decided exactly how I'm laying mine out. I think I need to play around with a few more ways before I decide.

I think "maybe" this is the layout I will use..... I am still playing around ---- almost afraid to start sewing my blocks together!

Well, here are my first tries at putting these squares together. I did them on the computer so they don't look very lifelike.

I didn't wind up using any of my original designs. I just posted my borderless afghan on the Photos and Spoilers page for Clue 5 (Week 6). Hope you like it! Looking forward to seeing your design.

Last six blocks plus one extra steaming for a few Clue 3's.
