Yea!!!!! I finally finished with clue 5 and am using the rainy day to begin work on clue 6. Thanks to all who posted suggestions for clue 6--I have saved and printed them out to use as I begin my new quest.

Thanks. I have finished two of clue 6 and am in the middle of three others. I have found that it is easier for me to do the same row on several at one time and then go to the next row. That way I can watch tv and not have to pay such close attention to the pattern.

Hope those huge rain storms don't come your way!

That sounds like a PERFECT way to work these motifs! I think I'm going to copy your plan.

I don't mind the huge rain storms, and I LOVE THUNDERSTORMS!! My oldest son is the same way. When he was little, we would watch thunderstorms in our living room, with all the lights off in the house. It was so exciting! :D

Maybe I should have been a tornado chaser? :hrmm:

We drove through all the rain and hail from Charlotte all the way to Durham! It was still raining in Raleigh but not as hard. LOTS of cars stopped on 85. Most I've ever seen stopped for a storm. One car flipped on it's side and a truck that had run up on the concrete embankment under an overpass! Crazy weather! I love watching the thunderstorms from the comfort of my home. Not so much driving through them! HA

Didn't make it to any of the yarn stores. :( Maybe next trip. Didn't even have a chance to work on my crochet. :(

Whoa! That storm was WICKED! I'm glad you made it safely home.
Maybe next time, we can meet up at a yarn shop.

I'm just curious about how the directions will be for the finish. This is my first CAL. I have been crocheting since I was a young girl, my Mom taught me. I'm enjoying it.mI have all of the 1st 5 hints completed even though I work 2-10p shift.

My kids aren't big fans of thunderstorms, but my husband and I love them. My husband grew up in Oklahoma so he used to chase tornadoes with some friends of his back in high school. He seriously considered going into meteorology so he could study storms and tornadoes all the time, but in the end his equally passionate love for computers won. Whenever storms come through we still sit out on our front porch and watch, at least until things get really bad, then we watch from the windows...
