Have 4 motifs done and working on number 5. I love how it looks in my bitter rose. WIll post a picture in spoilers in a few minutes. I can't wait to fool around with layout to see what they all look like together. Will have to use my living room floor to do this as it is the largest room in the house. Those 11 inch octagons take up quite a bit of space. Wondering what my cat will do when I lay them all out on the floor? LOL! Oh well back to crocheting! :knit:

My cat just meowed at me and said lay them out so I can lay on them and go to sleep....lol!

OH yeah! It's raining today, so what a better day to crochet!

Yikes! Help! I have made and frogged three times! All three times by the time I get to end of round 4 it looks like a cap for a new born! I have tried loosening my stitch, a larger needle What else can I do? Did anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem and finally decided to continue and it straightened out by the time I got to the last round. Also, when you go and block it, it will lay flat. At least mine did.

Did something wrong on the 5th motif. Having to frog the whole thing and do it all over again. I finished it and counted sides and only had 7 and 1/2 sides. How you get only 1/2 side I don't know but I did. argh!! :knit:

Inch by inch, row by row...
I looked at the diagram for this clue and thought I could never do this. I looked at the first step. Sure, I can chain four. Yes, I can chain 11. Wait ! What is this? I have no idea what that is. Thanks to Mrs. Jordan, my third grade teacher, for teaching me how to look things up. Remember the people who taught you the skills you have today so that you can do this.

By the yard it is hard, by the inch what a cinch!
Don't stare at the stairs.
Just step up each step.
Little by little, inch by inch

Raining here today, too, but I had 3 appts that I had to get out to farms to keep. Rainy days are the best days to get in touch with the farmers I do audits for. Unfortunately, babysitter backed out, so the kids got to come with me and read their new fun magazines in the van while I walked around and did inventory.

Maybe tonight.

Finally got the last 2 motifs done. Still don't know how I messed up the 5th one. Now to just block them then start laying them out on the floor to see what I can come up with. Took me all day to do those last two motifs. The last one didn't give me any trouble other then having to start the 2nd skein of color B. Hope I have enough to complete the afghan now. Still waiting for my new skein of MC to get here in the mail. Will weigh my skeins and see how much I have left of each one. Will post again when I get that done. :geek:

I'm finished... Loved it, had fun, and hate to rush the time, but can't wait for 2013 CAL. I'm now just patiently awaiting the assembling. I wish Bernat had CALs every 3 months.

I wish there were big CALs more than once a year too. Especially big mystery ones. I love the surprise they offer.
