For all you first timers I did the last CAL,in fact I did two of them at the same time. One for each daughter and it was so much fun! What I did was print off the instructions each week and put them in a 3-ring binder. I also saved them to a special folder on my computer. I have used several of the blocks for other project through the year. I felt the instructions were very very good.
I am thinking of doing this one also, just wondering if it's the same one or different?

Dear All,

I am very excited to be a part of CAL Project which I will be doing for the first time since I am a beginner.

Since I am from india, I will use the yarns used here to make the blanket. Hope it turns out good!

A warm hello and greetings for the new year to all :)

Take care and God Bless

This is my first time too. I heard about the last one on line and thought what a terrific idea! I am so excited (I don't know if I can wait over a month jeesh!). I think I have already encouraged two people to join in as well because I keep talking about it. I love to look at crochet. I can spend hours looking at pictures in my collection of crochet magazines and on-line crochet images. It will be so cool to see everyone's work developing. I'm realizing as I write this that I need to choose my colours based on what catches my eye and makes me feel happy.

Happy New Year to you as well! :D

What kinds of yarns do you have available in India? I think we will all be interested to hear about them.

That's a great plan! Your blanket will make you happy as you make it, and as you use it later, if you choose colors you love.

Me too! Me too! :hellogoodbye: I'm also a first timer and a newbie at crocheting. I have only been crocheting for a few months. I can't wait to get started. It sounds like a lot of fun! :inlove: I'm just going to pick colors I like together, since I'm not planning on keeping it in a specific room.

Welcome! I'm kind of a crochet newbie too, because I've only been following crochet patterns for about a year now. We will figure it out together.

This is awesome inspiration! :notworthy: Thank you! I plan on making one blanket for myself, one for a friend and possibly one for my living room. If it's as simple as last years looked then I don't think it will be a problem. I always am saving patterns on my computer so I can work on them later! I can't wait to start this! :D
