Claddagh Shawl in Bernat Satin

Postby BethHohertz » Mon Mar 05, 2012 4:14 pm

I found a great graph for a claddagh design on ravelry by Michelle Ryan and decided to make it into a shawl in Bernat Satin Evergreen. I added a shamrock I figured out on graph paper in the bottom corner.

Wow, that's awesome! How long did it take you?

It did up quite quickly ... about 5 days. It's really just a simple mesh with open and filled squares. The only somewhat tricky part was constantly checking the graph as I don't trust my memory. :-) It helps, too, that the design is symmetrical.

That is absolutely gorgeous, I think I may have to try that for my Irish mother, of course, she will not be getting it in time for St. Patty's day (her High Holiday, lol), there is no way I (being a new crocheter) could ever do that in time. Perhaps, for Mother's Day. Thank you.
