The measurements listed by Bernat are correct!
Just wait and see what they have in store for us next week. It will be fun. ;)

First, I think your possible layout looks awesome! Very exciting, although I agree with the other poster that you seem to be missing some of the small squares.

Second, though, I'm not sure what the problem is with the size. Does it really matter at this point in the game? Odds are we'll be seaming them together next week, unless we have a catch up week before seaming, and then we'll know for sure how big the main part of the afghan is going to be.

My theory on all of this is to relax and let the mystery unfold. This is supposed to be fun! :)

Look again, there are 9 squares in the corner. So unless we did not do 24 squares and 24 octagons then yes, I am missing some.
As for mattering, it can be a numbers game and they just do not add up. I am relaxed, I am finishing my motifs, one by one, I am working on my second CAL along the way, I am having fun, but I like numbers and how they make the world go round.

Thanks Shandeh! I really really appreciate the reassurance. I just wonder how my numbers can be so off?

:D Thanks for the love!
The layout Bernat has for us is surprising. Not at all what you expect.
It will be worth the wait.

I have the best husband in the world!
He figured it out. May not be what the official LO will be but now my measurements work! Yay to Shandeh for being so reassuring! I won't post what I think it is, but the maths works now! My husband knew this was bugging me, not in an unfriendly way, but out of curiosity to just know!

Oh, now I want to know! You're a tease!!! Guess I'll wait the few more days, maybe I can get my last 4 motifs done. LoL!! Can't I just have a peak? Sometimes I read the last few pages of my mystery books, just so I don't go wackier... though the husband thinks that's not possible! LoL!

I agree! I hate surprises, so why am I doing a MYSTERY CAL? Well, I wanted to learn to read a patterns and learn new stitches, so that part is being accomplished - since I'm still not done. But, the not knowing what it's going to look like are driving me batty - especially since you say your husband figured it out. :P

This is going to be exciting to see how close we got to the official LO.
I really hate mysteries too! So the wait is going to be agonizing!
I am pretty certain we will have a catch up week this week then next week we will get the LO!
I am so caught up on my first CAL that I have been playing with the LO and I found two that are pleasing to the eye. This is so agonizing in a very fun kind of way!!
Believe you me, if I am around Wednesday Morning and if they create a topic about CAL Blanket Possibilities I will for sure post all my ideas I am coming up with
I look forward to seeing everyone's ideas to tell the truth
:)

Well, we don't know for sure if her husband actually DID figure it out. But, he did come up with an option. ;)
