Postby Jen » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:52 am

Warning: This post will spoil CAL Clues 1-6 for you! If you don't want to know what the motifs look like yet, don't read any further!

We've made all of our motifs... but how will they go together?

This week, arrange your motifs how you think the blanket might look and show us what you've got!

If you don't leave now, you might see Clues 1-6!

or a crocodile!

So I guess I'll go ahead and play with the pieces and use this week to do some catch up on my KAL... Waiting a whole extra week to find out how these pieces are officially supposed to go together is going to be so tough!

I had a play with the motifs the other night and this is what I came up with:

I haven't blocked any of them or weaved in any ends.

Crocodiles come from eggs? Cool!

We have been playing here like mad with the motifs and came up with 15 slightly different ideas.

It is the 3 little different coloured squares that are throwing me off! How will they fit in?

I even copied yours lambdamuepsilon using my colours, here it is:

It looks so different since you used light as your MC and I used dark!
As for weaving in ends, why bother? Other than the middles, leaving tails will help tie/sew it together!

Interesting pattern arrangements. I was hoping it would be more of a ring design instead of things in rows since motifs are delicate.
