Nice work, did you block them? I blocked mine last night and I'm not sure I like the way they look. I may not block the rest of the motifs & just put together the afghan as it is and see what happens. It is very exciting to be so close to seeing what the finish design will be.

Question for anyone, do we know who designed this afghan, or will we find out at the end of the CAL? Just wondering

I didn't block them - I just pulled the points out by hand to see if they would turn into an octagon shape and they did. I'm hoping that the pieces will all fit together nicely, even though some are smaller than others.

I am also using colonial beige and sundrift, and noticed the greenish tint in mine as well. I didn't want any shades of green in my finished afghan; however between the colonial beige and the bark, I ended up with them anyway. :idonno: Oh, well! It still looks good so far. :)

Well, it is getting better now that I know how to read the spoilers page symbols. I thought this would be relaxing, but it's hard work until now. And then someone posted there is a mistake??? Done with my rant, now here I go on clue 6..... :helpme:

what mistake????????

Right?! There was no mistake...she read the wrong round.

Clue 6. Variegated is all I had, don't think design looks good in it .

OH WOW!! and here I am thinking the variegated looks FANTASTIC .. it's spiraling around so perfectly!

:bravo:

I too like the variegated :notworthy: Very SPRING!! Have you decided on whether you will use it?

Those color are AWESOME! More mellow than mine. I was going for a "southwestern" look, but of course came out looking like a "beach" blanket. I started with the variagated then went from there. It is a different look, but to me, looks "fuller" than just all plain colors...just sayin.

I just wanted everyone to know that it was done by Photobucket.
They probably have a way of blocking external links from their protected images.

If the person's account that you use the link from moves their photos around, it will also break that link. I've found that happens more often than Photobucket blocking it. My hint - if you find a smiley you like, copy the image to your own computer or Photobucket account and link from there.

This just goes to show what a neophyte I am  !!! I have no idea how to do anything you just discussed.
No pictures from me 'cause I haven't a digital camera except my phone and I can barely use that and haven't the slightest idea how to "send" them anywhere. Baby steps though are alright with me, just got this laptop for Xmas and haven't had a whole lot of time to play with it. But I LOVE seeing what you all are doing; keep those pictures coming. Some of you think they will give some " catch-up" time for blocking or whatever and maybe a week to have everyone guess at layout?? That will drive me nuts. I am NOT the most patient person when it comes to completing projects. I will get distracted and start about 3 other things in the meantime ... then drop those when I get back to this one... leaving me yet more semi complete projects. Does this sound familiar to anyone?  :hellogoodbye:

I totally feel you GF. I am NOT hip to posting and saving and choosing which file... :scared:

I could totally use a "catch up" week. The weather here in CT was way too nice last week to get very serious about crocheting. So I fell behind :tears:

I wish I had that problem. I was holed up at home all weekend madly finishing clue 6.
It's snowing here in Calgary, Canada. Still feels like afghan weather. :D

Yay for snow!! Here in the mountains of New Mexico we had several SAND STORMS! What the??! NObody was out. Except me, of course. Now you should see my Mini's windshield...

I am so backward, I haven't figured out to put a link to the forums on my desktop. I have to search each time. Maybe soon I won't feel like this guy. :smashy:
