I keep stealing everyone's ideas to see how they look in my colour choices so this one is no exception.
Not mine 2.JPG

I love the colour arrangement. But the motifs themselves, as they are, are just not working right for me. The pink one (clue 6) is just too lacy here to be grouped this way. It would make a 'weak' point in the finished afghan in my opinion. With another motif design I think this arrangement would be wonderful. So maybe if I don't like the official one I will do this for my second CAL afghan. My first will be official all the way. My second one has no lacy motifs, I replaced the two lacy ones with other designs.

Just remember that these are not the official Bernat design layouts.
They are ideas from forum members.

The Bernat design will be posted next week.

ooo I like THAT layout!

Did anyone else wonder if Bernat has NO idea how to put this all together and they just asked us to play around so they could get a really good idea from one of us ... and then they'll say, "Oh look, you guessed correctly"

:scared: *ducks*

Goofy!
Well, I've known about the Bernat designs for a LONG time, and I can vouch that they never changed. ;)

With the frustration that you have read here, you are not afraid to say that YOU KNOW THE SOLUTION !!!! :scared:

Beware !!!

Are you a venal person ? Chocolate ? :hrmm: Perfume ?

When I was 10, I slept in the same room as my 2 young sisters (3 and 7 years old), and after mom has turned out the light, I used to say softly : "oh, you know what, I have a good idea for tomorrow !" and my sisters yelled, and mom came back and scolded me .... and it was the same scenario every night, until I had my own room, in dad's office (he was professor at the university, and worked at home in a special room, large room, with a lot of books everywhere .....) and :reading: I could read all night, and switch off the light when I wanted !!!

Thanks, Shandeh, you remind me this anecdote !!!

I know I've seen it a million times, but can't find it right now when I want to know. Hee hee! Doesn't it usually work out that way? :-) Anyone know the measurements of the completed afghan?

I love all of the possibilities everyone's sharing and the color combinations. So pretty! Thanks for the photos guys.
