I do the chain and can do the first dc but I'm somehow not getting the right number of YO or something because when it says to yo and go through remaining loops on hook I only have one loop on my hook. HELP!

Tonight, I will be making a video of Clue 6, one round at a time. Stay tuned!

Well, you yo, pull up a loop ...which gives you 2, yo & pull up another one..pull through 2 & that leaves 2...then you yo & pull it through the remaining 2. I hope this helps. It took me a couple of tries to understand what it meant
. Let me know if this helps :)

It's actually a little different from that.
You start off with 1 on your hook. YO, and pull through 1 as you go in the side of the SC. Now, you have 3 on the hook. YO, and pull through 2. Next, YO, and pull through 1 as you go in the side of the SC again. You now have 4 on the hook. YO, and pull through 2, then YO and pull through all 3.

Well, that isn't exactly as I read it....there being 3 & 4 loops....It says to Yo and draw up a loop in side of sc and draw through 2 loops twice, the yo & draw through all loops....I came up with 2 loops twice & then 2. Looks like it worked fine to me...

Well, if it works, that's all that matters!

I'll be posting the video I made last night of Clue #6. You can watch it if you want, and compare my stitching to what you've been doing. I wonder if the final result is the same? I think crochet stitching is so interesting.

Now it is 47 years :) I still will answer any questions to the best of my ability. Although I am an award winning expert crocheter...I have not worked with EVERY Pattern or EVERY yarn. I am very experienced in working with charts...such as the ones used for the CAL.
