Knit-Along Clue 6 (Week 7): Spoilers and Photos

Postby Kaleigh » Wed Mar 28, 2012 9:56 am

Warning: This post will spoil KAL Clues 1-6 for you! If you don't want to know what the afghan looks like yet, don't read any further!

We've made all of our squares... but how will they go together?

This week, knit your left and right edgings!

Just like last week, I'm going to make a bunch of space here.

If you don't leave now, you might see every clue!

An unrelated photo to take up space:

Alright, let's see those borders!

here's what i have after 3 repeats of the left edging. i think we are working from the bottom up, so the right side of the image will attach to the squares, but i'm not really sure.

either way, i like it. the combination of garter, moss, stockinette, and lacing looks really nice.

looks nice! I agree, I like the looks of this one.

I've got about the same amount done.

I asked my question on the main clue page, but wanted to know if you are correct that the right side of your work will be attached to the afghan and the outer edge will be the moss or seed stitch?

The seed stitch edge will be the very outer side of the afghan, and the edge closest to the lace pattern will attach to the squares themselves.

VERY nice! Thanks for the preview littlereader. Haven't started the border yet because I decided to finish an Easter hat for a friend's baby first since Easter is right around the corner. Can't believe it is the end of March already. Happy knitting! :knit:
