Summit Yarn CAL and KAL

Postby dogfoster » Sun Mar 04, 2012 11:23 am

I found this on Ravelry , it is from Summit Yarn studio. It will be mystery as no clues about how many colors, how much, etc. about yarn. I know I am using the wrong gauge but just using what I have. The finished items should be just gorgeous. The designer has a site where she sends out photos of her other creations and they are beautiful. Clues kind of slow to get as it seems she has a lot of other commitments, but so worth it. The KAL should open up from the tab at the top of the CAL.

Knit & Crochet Groups

Postby dogfoster » Sat Mar 17, 2012 9:38 am

There is a nice little crochet yahoo group called crochet in common. Lots of little seasonal projects, swaps, motifs,
dishcloth patterns, etc. I recently joined and am enjoying it very much.

The yahoo group crochet in common will be doing a mystery square lapghan, three clues a week. Some clues are 12 inch squares, some are 6 inch. Saturday night, tonight, is the deadline to join. Looks like fun. I think you are on your own about colors etc. so might be great way to use up some stash yarn.
Here is the link if you want to sign up for the group in general, and then sign up for the mystery lapghan.

Did anyone join this group? The first clue came out this morning. Very pretty. Added some popcorns ;)

It certainly is a very busy group with lots of projects going on. I am only doing the mystery CAL lapghan and that is fun, that is all I have time for. The people seem very nice. Hope you can take some time to look at all the files and things on the yahoo site.
