love the stepping waves afghan. I have a question... do you get to just straight knit in some rows? I have never made a lacy knit pattern before, and I like to be able to multi-task at least some of the time when I knit or crochet.
As for not being able to get up when knitting, I am the same. Since the KAL started I think I have even lost a few pounds because I don't get up for snacks as much.

Glad to hear it's not just me that goes "hermit" when knitting! The pattern only has 2 rows that need your attention, but after awhile, they even get monotonous. The 12 row pattern has 6 knitted rows, 4 purl rows, and 2 rows of SSK 3 times, YO, K1 5 times, YO, K2tog 3 times. Quite simple really. Hardest part is fingers going numb after a few rows. There are 214 stitches on each row

Awesome! I love this stitch. Kinda reminds me of scarf pattern using Mosaic!

I am 95% done now. I should be able to get this afghan off the needles by Thursday! Right on schedule - I had planned to have it done by Easter and it looks like it is going to happen

My step-kids just asked for a blanket each on the weekend and I would love to make this one for one of them (for Christmas), in blues. Anyone wanna chime in on what three shades of blue would look best together? Heading to Spinrite this weekend to take advantage of their sale (buy 20 balls, save 30%) so I have time to decide on colours.

How about Classic Navy, Cadet, and Breath of Blue? The Blue Gown and the Beautiful Blue and the Birch White would look nice together, too.
