Afghan Shades - Color Selection

Oh boy! I like the cultural rhythms family! This yarn is just not in any stores up here!

My Main colour is black and the colour that has to go with it is burgand, I am afraid that is going to be to dark my other colours are clue 1(burgandy and green )and clue 2 (dusty rose ) clue 3 (green and off white)

Are you doing the KAL or the CAL?
Those colors would work very well for the KAL, but I think black would be too dark as a main color for the CAL.

Hey Bernat! When are the new colors/ collections going to be added to the Waverly.Bernat.com website? I would love to see the colors there and select/compare colors with "My Palette". I'm planning another KAL afghan with Waverly!!

Hi Mayvalley! The new colors are on Bernat's website. You might note that when you look at the description of the yarns, with the swatch colors. you wil find 42 colors. When you click on to the on-line store, you will see 49 colors. I sent an e-mail to Bernat over a week ago asking why they were differnent. I got an answer that answered a different question in my e-mail, but not that question (and it was the first question that I asked!). I sent an e-mail back on 3/29. I am looking forward to the answer. It seems like it must be someone's oversight. I WOULD SUGGEST: Look at the on-line shopping to see all the colors that are available (49). This is probably more than you wanted to know, but it was something that I noticed when looking at the colors...they are beautiful!!! I wish we had all of them to see at our Michael's. We only have about 10, and not much of a range of colors. Good luck with your next Waverly project!

We're working on it, but we don't have an official date on the update yet. We also have a third set of shades that we'll be unveiling on the regular bernat.com site soon!

Thanks for the info! I have seen the new colors on shop Bernat.com but since they are just the little squares it is hard to tell what it looks like especially in comparison to the rest of the collection. I would like to see the nice photography like they did with the other colors and they need added to the "my pallette" thingy. The little squares are just too small and none of the stores in my area will be carrying this yarn. Good to know there will be more colors though! I wish I could see them in person, but since I can't I have to rely on the website for good photos

I am doing the kal I am worried about the black and Burgundy together for the 4th clue the rest looks good it is to bad I did not use the dusty rose as B colour instead of Burgundy
